Deborah Zwahlen has been an educator in the Columbus City Schools for more than 30 years. Throughout her career she has always focused on encouraging children to do their best and make good choices. Deborah has been married to her husband Brett for 35 years and they have two grown sons, Zach and Tyler.  Bella is the family pet and was adopted from the Fairfield Area Humane Society. It was Bella who inspired her to write her first Children’s book, Bella the Shelter Dog, and her second book, Bella the Beach Dog.  Both of her books are based on true events.
